This was a desktop application built to help healthcare providers of patients with COPD. It contained a series of videos, hosted by two Key Opinion Leaders, which focused on the diagnosis and treatment of COPD.

COPD Management

Listen3d was a continuous electronic dance music blog running on Wordpress and curated by my friends and I. The listen3d plugin ran on youtube, soundcloud and vimeo links, which it would find within posts and replace with embedded players. The various apis were combined and abstracted so that when one completed, the next available player start no matter what type it was. This allowed for smooth transitions between songs without breaks.

DM2 is a kiosk activity targeted towards healthcare providers of patients with Diabetes mellitus. The purpose was to interactively demonstrate the treatment options offered to patients. The program contained 3 activities: A photo hunt, jigsaw puzzle and trivia match. The "Hypoglycemia Risk Factor Hunt" identified common risk factors that patients encounter, "Patient Puzzle", showed how lifestyle habits can affect diabetes management and "Diabetes Challenge" taught interesting facts and history. User scores for trivia were recorded and displayed on a leaderboard screen.

Command Prompt Youtube is a personal project intented to organize my favorite Youtube authors into separate "feeds". Because of the large amount of users I'm subscribed to, doing something as simple as finding new music uploads is not as easy as you'd think. The concept behind this site is that when a user creates a feed and subscribes to one or many authors, the videos that are published from those authors are placed in one spot. The feed then becomes a curated gateway of Youtube content. Instead of having to sift through content from 100 different uploaders, imagine being able to break up all that content into feeds such as "Gaming news", "Tech news" and "Favorite artists". Yeah. Once the user organizes their subscriptions, the server will automatically gather the latest uploads from those authors for each feed. Now, when I visit my "good music" feed, I am given the latest uploads from only the Youtube authors that upload good music. Incredible! "Watch Later"? What the hell does that mean? I want to watch now. Trust me dude, just click "Watch Later".

Command Prompt Youtube

This application was designed as a desktop presentation tool for conference speakers. Speakers can login to the program and download or update their assigned presentations from a central database. After the initial download, users are allowed to customize, preview, print and present their presentations. During customization, speakers can remove or modify the order of non-mandatory slides within a presentation. Upon saving, the user can name the new presentation and it will be kept in a local database for future use. The app shown above acts as a desktop client for the remote database, however the entire "Slide Library" is a multi-part system of applications. Not shown in the gallery is the web admin tool, which allows registered admins to login and actually create presentations, attach slide images and define slide rules. The slide rules were implemented to let admins have a greater control over presentations, such as: mandatory and optional slides, bundles and sequences. Once an admin creates a presentation, they can assign it to users, whom will download it automatically the next time they run the app.

You can create custom feeds of various YouTube authors to get fresh new content every day. You can create video collections to categorize and save your favorite videos.As soon as a new Youtube API is released, it will (hopefully) allow the ability to transfer over your favorite feeds/collections to your Youtube account.
